Counseling

  • My belief is that healing is available to everyone and there are many ways to start this journey. Together we will explore which path is right for you so that you feel empowered in your own healing. Because the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important aspects of the therapeutic process, you will be welcomed into a safe and comfortable environment with an emphasis on authentic connection.

    I take a transpersonal (spiritual) approach to therapy, helping you find a deeper sense of meaning, purpose and connection to this human experience. Mindfulness, breathwork, grounding, energy work and journaling are techniques I often use in and out of session. My life has been completely transformed through therapy, spiritual practice and grounding techniques and I aim to bring this transformation to you.

  • I have extensive experience supporting people working through addictions, trauma, ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief and life transitions.

Breathwork

  • Conscious connected circular breathing is a simple yet intense, deeper style of breathwork. This is an incredibly beautiful and deeply emotional practice.

    By bringing awareness and control to the breath we are able to tap into subconscious parts of the mind otherwise unseen, allowing for a deep transformational, emotional experience.

    Through this deeper style of breathwork, you have the potential to release traumas, decrease stress levels, have profound spiritual experiences, and make peace with core negative beliefs, old narratives and outdated ways of being in this world.

    This practice has been life-changing for many, including myself.

  • Expect: You will be laying savasana style, on a yoga mat, with intentionally chosen music playing in the background. With me as your guide, I will give a brief introduction and hold space during your session. We will then process what came up for you afterward! The session takes about 90 minutes, including an introduction.

I received a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science and an Early Childhood Education teaching license from Metropolitan State College of Denver. From there, I went on to become Montessori trained and began teaching in one of Denver’s inner-city schools, and then a private Montessori. Years later, I returned to higher education and received a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University. My focus as a counselor has been addictions, trauma, ADHD, anxiety and life transitions.
